It's one of my strongest memories of California
(everything's yellow and brown!)
I don't know if you've been there but there's a area north of SF where they filmed some of the star wars footage. Lots of redwood trees. Well where I live is a little like that, but with smaller trees. It's very green.
That's why CA is so beautiful, the yellow's and browns
I've lived here most of my life and I think that's why deserts appeal to me so much.
and humboldt is not only known for that specific star wars scene and its redwood trees, it is also known for being part of the emerald triangle: three counties in northern california that are the biggest producers of marijuana in the U.S.
green is my favorite color; yellow is not. that's why i like the late fall and winter here, because everything turns green
I may have been through Humboldt county. I didn't know about the emerald triangle though.
Now you know why I like deserts
